Peter O'Shea is principal designer and cofounder of O'Shea + Wilson Siteworks. O'Shea believes it's vital that landscapes be beautiful, functionally effective and intellectually stimulating. The design work adheres to principles that protect and enhance watersheds, improve the ecology of sites and increase biodiversity. In projects of every scale, budget and location O'Shea consistently strives to achieve transformational and memorable spaces. Known mostly for his mid-Atlantic focus, he collaborates across the U.S., in Canada, Central America and Europe. He is a well-respected collaborator and an eloquent community advocate. His work is consistently creative and responsive to cultural and natural histories of places. He has received many national and regional awards, including a Rome Prize Fellowship.
