As a practitioner, Robert Grist has designed award-winning projects. As a teacher, he has had a lasting impact on students from many disciplines. Building upon his professional practice, his academic areas of expertise are quite diverse?EUR??,,????'??+construction, GIS, design, computer graphics. As department chair, he has shown strong administrative skills and has a reputation throughout the College as fair and cooperative. Working with the Florida Chapter/ASLA, he was a key player in staving off several attacks on licensure in the past. He served on the FCASLA Executive Committee for fifteen years, as chair of various committees and as an instructor for licensure review sessions.

Thoughts on being elected to Council of Fellows: I feel very fortunate to have had support from the Florida Chapter ASLA Executive Committee. These dedicated professionals work tirelessly and unselfishly to better our profession and our environment. I am deeply honored to be named an ASLA Fellow. I have always had the utmost respect for members who have attained this honor and I am humbled to be in their company.
