  • I have been a leader to the Potomac Chapter, and my institutional knowledge and leadership skills have been the backbone and stability for the chapter for more than 15 years. My consistent and continuous service to ASLA and the profession as a two-term chapter president, a two-term trustee, current vice president of information and practice and as a businessmen and entrepreneur has served as a mentoring leader for other professionals around the United States.

Thoughts on being elected to Council of Fellows:My passion and dedication for the profession and the people striving to advance the profession every day gives me the strength, courage and inspiration to continue my volunteer commitments to the American Society of Landscape Architects. To be recognized by my peers for the work I have accomplished is one of the greatest rewards a person can receive. I will cherish and honor this award in remembrance of all of the individuals and organizations that assisted me in achieving this distinction.
