Scott S. Weinberg graduated from Iowa State University in 1972 and 1981. He has excelled in advancing landscape architecture while working with Iowa State University and the University of Georgia. He has been educating students about landscape architecture for much of his career and has been given awards as an acknowledgement of his success. Such awards include the School of Environmental Design Honor's Outstanding Teacher award in 1997 and the Teaching Enhancement Program, Selected Teaching Mentor award in1998. He was inducted as a Fellow of the American Society of Landscape Architects in 1994.
