Ronald J. Izumita graduated from Harvard University Graduate School of Design in 1966 and California State Polytechnic University at Pomona in 1964. He followed up his education with a career in landscape architecture. He was then recognized with several awards for his success. Such awards include the Alumni of the Year, Environmental Design, California State Polytechnic University in 1988 and many others. This led to his induction as a Fellow of the American Society of Landscape Architects in 1990.
