After Receiving a Large Amount of Funding, the Department of Natural Resources Looks to Improve American Urban Forestry by Staff
After legislators passed a law in 2020, the Department of Natural Resources was slated to grow its urban and community forestry program from two to nine members. In addition to the new staff, the department will be aided with a state-funded grant program that will help inventory current trees, maintain them, and plan where to plant new trees.
