The Allegiance Award recognizes green industry professionals that have been a part of the association for more than 15 years and have made a significant impact on the industry during their tenure. Each Allegiance Award winner has also served on a CLCA committee, task force, or board for at least 10 years. The two winners of the Allegiance Award are Heath Bedal, founder of the JPH Group, and Steve Jacobs, owner of Nature Designs.

The Regular Member of the Year Award honors a contractor and member of the CLCA that is involved with a significant project or accomplishment during the current year. The 2022 Member of the Year was awarded to Alex Salazar who is the Business Development Manager for Groundcare Landscape Company.

The Associate Member of the Year Award went to Mike Madewell for his work in Water Management. The Associate Member of the Year Award goes to a member that is involved in a significant project or accomplishment like the Regular Member

Award, but for Associate members of the CLCA. The Mickey Strauss Grassroots Award was not awarded to anyone this year and has not been presented to a CLCA member since 2018 when it was given to Megan Rios. https://clca.org/about/distinguished-members-2022/
