Joel Albizo, CAE, executive director of the Council of Landscape Architectural Registration Boards (CLARB), announces that starting with the Sept. 2009 administration of the multiple-choice exams, the three-day testing window will expand to a two-week window. This will obviously give exam candidates a better opportunity to sit for exams at times that are more convenient to their schedules. The change was made in response to feedback from exam candidates and employers who have expressed frustration at the limited testing schedule.
Scores for the multiple-choice exams will be available within four weeks of the last day of the exam administration. CLARB believes the increased flexibility of the testing schedule outweighs the ?EUR??,,????'?????<?????????????????waiting?EUR??,,????'?????<????????????????? period for the candidates to get their results.
The two-week testing period applies only to the multiple-choice exam, not the graphic exam. CLARB says the graphic exam presents ?EUR??,,????'?????<?????????????????unique and complex security issues that will not allow an expanded testing window at this time.?EUR??,,????'?????<?????????????????
Questions regarding the new testing scheduled can be addressed to Valerie Heh Gardner at Valerie@clarb.org.
