According to an Air Force simulation (www.theatlantic.com/politics/archive/2013/02/like-a-swarm-of-lethal-bugs-the-most-terrifying-drone-video-yet/273270/#) researchers are at work on killer robots the size of bugs or small birds These unobtrusive micro-air vehicles (MAVs), or ''bugbots,'' as reported in National Geographic, can perch on power lines, or enter a doorway as people go in and out. Equipped with micro-sensors, they may hover or crawl, moving unobtrusively to the target. They could do visual reconnaissance, such as detecting chemical, biological or radiation threats and relay that information. They could be deadly, too, carrying explosives, combustibles or deadly chemicals. The mind reels.
