The National Forest Service reports that the Great American Outdoors Act has been active for two years. Over these last two years, the Great American Outdoors Act has maintained over 300,000 miles of road among a number of other things, most of all allowing for completion of maintenance backlogs.

 

One of the projects funded by the Great American Outdoors Act was the national Parks and Public Land Legacy Restoration Fund, that made strides in the area of completing deferred maintenance to national parks and other federal lands. There are already plans in place for funding up to 2025 allowing for more infrastructure to be repaired and maintained around the U.S.
