Among the many award-winning projects in the 2025 Competition held by the Brick Industry Association (BIA), two landscape architecture firms were recognized in the Paving and Landscaping category for their use of brick in their work: Lemon Brooke in Massachusetts and national firm Goodwyn, Mills, and Cawood. Best in Class 2025 went to Lemon Brooke for their high-contrast design in the contemporary setting of The Bridge District in Washington, D.C. Goodwyn, Mills, and Cawood received Bronze for their pedestrian and vehicular brick paving design at Fairhope Municipal Pier and Park in Alabama.

In a press release, BIA announced: "For the first time in the awards history, the winning projects and teams will be honored live on stage at the first Brick Excellence Gala on April 9, 2026 in Orlando, Florida during the National Clay Brick Expo."

The projects that won the Gold and Silver awards in this category did not have an easily identifiable Landscape Architect listed on the project. BIA has yet to include a separate listing for the Landscape Architects involved in the projects submitted for the awards, instead listing designers under the category "Architect."
