RESTON, VA?EUR??,,????'??+The Brick Association of the Carolinas recently sponsored a seminar on sustainability. More than 60 architects, engineers and others interested in sustainability attended. Presenters included Denis Bronsan of the National Brick Research Center, who presented the life-cycle advantage of brick over other materals. Cheryl Walker, AIA, of Gantt-Huberman Architects, spoke about how architects are becoming more aware of sustainable issues, and how governmental bodies are requiring suppliers to provide documentation of how their products impact the environment.
