The Golf Course Superintendents Association of America confirmed Keith Ihms, CGCS, as their new president. Ihms is director of grounds maintenance at the Country Club of Little Rock in Ark., and has been with the that club since 2005.

The Irrigation Association announced that Ewing Irrigation Products, Inc. has upgraded to the highest level of IA membership: platinum.

The National Recreation and Park Association invites professionals to attend the annual legislative forum in Washington D.C., which will take place March 25 - 26.

The Professional Landcare Network created a Supplier Advisory Council, which will provide guidance to the PLANET Board of Directors about important issues facing the landscape industry.

The Tree Care Industry Association has partnered with 13 tree care industry companies in TCIA's Partners Advancing Commercial Tree Care program for 2014. They are: Altec, Arborjet, Bandit Industries, Inc., Buckingham Manufacturing, Fanno Saws, George Fern, Husqvarna, Liberty Financial, Mauget, Morbark, Northern Atlantic Financial, Vermeer and Weaver Leather.
