Profile: We count on members and sponsors, who together, have made the wonderful events and services of the chapter possible. Our 2019 ASLA Conference on Landscape Architecture, titled "Get Outside" had the theme of Experiential Design. It was held in Pleasant Grove, Utah, close to some unique landscapes that have been designed to heighten people's experience of the outside world. The speakers highlighted the challenges, opportunities, and importance of carefully crafting landscapes that create distinctive human experiences. The conference took place at the Eleve Event Center May 17. The night before was the chapter's Annual Awards Dinner where winners in the professional categories were honored. Winners of student-submitted work received their awards during the Awards Banquet held by the Utah State University LAEP Department on April 19, 2019. The 2018/2019 Mentorship Program matched ASLA Utah Chapter members with student ASLA Chapter members from the Landscape Architecture and Environmental Planning program at USU: an outstanding opportunity for students to develop their professional skills outside of the classroom and a great way for alumni and friends to reconnect with the university and other current and emerging professionals.

The following individuals make up the chapter's Executive Committee and help coordinate the events, provide the services to their members and inform their neighbors about all the great works that the landscape architecture industry accomplishes.

As seen in LASN magazine, December 2019.
