Torey Carter-Conneen, ASLA's CEO is set to give a presentation covering Carbon-Neutral Community Design by Staff
On Wednesday, June 8th, Torey Carter-Conneen, ASLA CEO, will speak on a panel online, through Economist Impact Sustainability Week US, about leading the transition to carbon-neutral housing. Carter-Conneen will cover topics on how landscape architects can reduce residential energy use by designing at the level of a community. By using nature-based solutions, landscape architects can solve many problems with climate at the same time. These solutions range from adding tree canopy to urban areas to green roofing and the capturing of stormwater. Carter-Conneen will be presenting alongside Mike Davis, Mahesh Rananujam, and Emily Jackson-Kessler, who will be the moderator. The online panel discussion is taking place on June 8th, at 2:05 p.m. Eastern Daylight Time.
