The New York ASLA Chapter, which serves members in the New York Metropolitan-Long Island region, recently announced the individuals elected to the 2025-2026 Executive Board.

The New York ASLA Chapter, which serves members in the New York Metropolitan-Long Island region, recently announced the individuals elected to the 2025-2026 Executive Board.

Jason Bajor, PLA, will serve in a new role as Treasurer and Co-Chair of the Communications/PR Committee while Anchalee Phaosawasdi, PLA, and many of the current Officers of the Board are now entering the second half of their terms. Newly elected members include Kerri Murphy, PLA, who has joined the Executive Board as Co-Chair of the Programs Committee alongside continuing members Nick Koster, PLA, and Aimee Ventura. Andrew Joseph, PLA, has also joined the Board as Co-Chair of the Awards Committee in partnership with Nick Pettinati, PLA. Michael Spina, PLA, will serve on the Education Committee with re-elected peer Amy Motzny. Other re-elected members include Taewook Cha, PLA, FASLA, who serves on the DEI and Fellows Nominating Committees alongside Crystal Xing, PLA, and Jennifer Nitzky, PLA, FASLA, respectively.

Though she will continue to Co-Chair the Communications/PR and Fellows Nominating Committees, Jennifer Nitzky, PLA, FASLA, is resigning from the Executive Board after serving in various roles over the last 15 years. Other resigning board members include Sama Azadi, PLA, and Nancy Prince, PLA.
