On February 12, 2019, the University Pennsylvania officially announced that it will award Practice Professor Emeritus in Landscape Architecture, Laurie Olin, an honorary Doctor of Arts degree at this year's upcoming commencement ceremony on May 15. The news article published by the University of Pennsylvania relates that Olin is "one of the most renowned landscape architects practicing today." This claim is validated by LandscapeArchitect.com, as we have written numerous articles pertaining to Olin and his many achievements and projects.
Check out these two stories about Olin that we published over the years: Profile: Laurie Olin, FASLA, Principal, Olin Studio and Laurie Olin, FASLA Receives 2012 National Medal of Arts From President Obama.
