345 Banyan Boulevard is a 15-story mixed-use development in downtown West Palm Beach, Florida. The new build includes an urban green space that is open to the public and offers a local West Palm Beach artist the perfect platform to integrate his multimedia large-scale artwork.
The urban park seamlessly blends into the residential lobby by carrying the organic raised planters into both spaces. The space offers a tranquil and comfortable reprieve from the surrounding cityscape with a dense canopy of tropical landscaping and contemporary bench seating.
The upcoming Parks Issue of Landscape Architect and Specifier News saw many firms submit their projects for feature consideration. This project was not chosen for a Feature in the issue, but we at LandscapeArchitect.com thought the project deserved to be showcased online . . .
