The 2019 International Erosion Control Association (IECA) Annual Conference and Expo will take place in Denver, Colo., from February 19-22. Over 25 countries will be represented at the event.

The conference will give attendees the opportunity to attend education sessions and workshops, network with IECA members and erosion experts, and get out into the city for field events. Some of the session topics for the conference include erosion and sediment control; stormwater management; wetland, stream bank, and shoreline restoration; business practices; and regulations.

This year's keynote speaker will be Kenneth MacKenzie, executive director of Urban Drainage and Flood Control District, which is headquartered in Denver. In his address, he will reflect on 50 years of employment and the importance of being passionate about what you do.
