Sutton Station, Durham, North Carolina

Sutton Station was one of Durham's first true mixed-use projects incorporating 100,000 square feet of office space; 48,000 square feet of commercial space and 57 upper story apartments in a mix of one, two and three-story buildings on 15.94 acres. The project was started in 1999 with completion of the final phases in 2006 and updates in 2014.

Alamance Crossing, Burlington, North Carolina

Alamance Crossing is a life style retail and commercial center located along I-85 in Burlington, N.C. The center contains 120 acres with 880,000 square feet of commercial development. Belk, Kohl's, Dick's Sporting Goods, BJ's Club, and Hobby Lobby along with many restaurants, shops, and a movie theater are located within this development. Horvath Associates completed the original site planning, design, and construction documentation approvals.

Patterson Place, Phase 2, Durham, North Carolina

Horvath Associates was involved with the site design, city approvals and construction drawings for Phase 2 of Patterson Place in Durham. It is a mixed-use project that includes offices, restaurants, a hotel, and commercial space all within an 11-acre site. This parcel is part of a larger big box shopping center and destination center. The larger commercial development contains Kohl's, Kroger, and Home Depot. The firm's design work included hardscape, landscaping, and public pedestrian areas.

Del Webb Carolina Arbors, Durham, North Carolina

Del Webb Carolina Arbors is a 500-acre residential development that includes 1,250 single-family units. Horvath Associates was tasked with providing services for the land developer including approvals for zoning, annexation, future land use map, site plan, construction drawings, and all permitting. Horvath Associates held multiple neighborhood meetings to inform the local community about the project, and receive input and answer questions.

Horvath Associates, P.A. is an experienced team of landscape architects, engineers, surveyors and construction management professionals. Established in 1988, the firm has 28 years of experience involving site analysis, due diligence reports, site development, master planning and infrastructure design. Their design process is characterized by intense collaboration between client, design disciplines, and the final product. Their diverse group of talent includes five principals and nine employees who work with clients from project inception through occupancy to create an on-time and on-budget process.
