The American Society of Consulting Arborists (ASCA), has announced details about their upcoming annual conference.

The American Society of Consulting Arborists has announced details about their upcoming annual conference, which will be held December 3-6, 2014 at Westin Mission Hills, Palm Springs, Calif.

Earn CEUs
Attending ASCA's Annual Conference is an excellent way to earn credits toward fulfilling ASCA and ISA Continuing Education requirements. ASCA has approved pre-conference workshops for 8 CEUs and the annual conference for 23, while the ISA has approved pre-conference workshops for 8 CEUs and the annual conference for 22.25.

Network
There are several networking opportunities, Networking Reception & Networking Lunches, where attendees can mingle with fellow conference goers and have a bite to eat.

Attend an Event
Another great event to join is the annual golf tournament, being held at the Westin Mission Hill's premiere golf course. Fee includes golf cart, range balls, and a box lunch. Golf club rentals are available and will need to be arranged in advance directly with the Pro Shop at (760) 328-3198.

If you are a first-time attendee join ASCA's president, Patrick Brewer for a complimentary lunch on Thursday, where you will have the opportunity to meet with the board of directors and learn about the association.

Roundtable Discussions continue to be a big hit at the annual conference. During this event, groups of chairs are set up around 10 to 12 discussion topics, ranging from risk assessment to tools and technology. You'll select the topics in which you want to participate on the spot and share your thoughts and concerns about the subject. Six sets of 20-minute sessions are held so that you can make the most of every minute.
