While employed at Satsuma, Pam served as a board member, and alternatively the Association Manager, for the Southern California Turfgrass Council. She was Editor of their quarterly magazine TURF TALES for five years, and coordinator of their annual educational event for four years. She received her BS in Ornamental Horticulture from California State Polytechnic University, Pomona, with minors in Botany and Irrigation Design. She is a licensed Pest Control Advisor, licensed Qualified Applicator, Certified Arborist, and Certified Water Conservation Practitioner. As she worked over the years in the horticulture field, she saw the ever-increasing importance of water use efficiency. She now has the opportunity to share her landscape and irrigation knowledge via water use efficiency programs aimed at outdoor water use.
