Wood+Partners (WPi), an award winning landscape architecture and land planning firm with offices in Hilton Head, S.C. and Tallahassee, Fla., celebrated its 30-year anniversary on May 23, 2018.

What started as a small private sector focused land planning practice has steadily grown over the years in both diversity and talent," Baker added.

Perry Wood, FASLA and Edward Evans Jr., ASLA founded the firm in 1988 on Hilton Head Island. WPi is in its third generation of ownership. In addition to Mark Baker, the partners/vice presidents are Kyle Theodore, Todd Theodore, Trey Griffin and Shawn Kalbli.

In 2005, WPi expanded into the Florida market by opening a Tallahassee office. The firm has a total of 15 employees.

WPi's land planning practice on Hilton Head Island led to a strong environmental preservation ethic focused on stewardship and sustainability practices. The firm's work includes mixed-use residential communities, resorts and hotels, commercial villages and town centers, multi-family, planning and urban design, park and recreation facilities, K-12 education facilities, college and university facilities, and healthcare, medical and assisted living campuses.
