Will Truckee Trees Topple?
A plan to cut down 23 Jeffrey pines at the Truckee housing complex along a Donner Lake marina in Northern California has some local residents protesting, and has prompted intervention from the local Sierra Club. The subdivision’s board of directors has approved the tree felling, but needs the Truckee Planning Commission’s approval first.
