Toolkit Was Made for Cities and Planners by
The White House in conjunction with the US Department of Transportation released a free guide to assist rural communities with taking advantage of federal funding for electric vehicle charging stations. The guide, titled Charging Forward: A Toolkit for Planning and Funding Rural Electric Mobility Infrastructure, is designed to be used as a tool cities, planners, and other organizations to more effectively utilize the $7.5 billion allocated to building 500,000 electric vehicle charging stations across the United States. The toolkit is said to contain best practices for planning EV charging networks, tips about navigating the federal funding and financing.
