The School & Corporate Campus Issue of Landscape Architect and Specifier News saw many firms submit their projects for feature consideration. Norris Design's partnership with the University of Wyoming is one of several great projects we are excited to showcase on LandscapeArchitect.com.

The Lewis Street Corridor reimagines a public city street as a welcoming pedestrian and bicycle spine, extending the character of the historic campus core and Prexy's Pasture. The design unifies varied architectural styles with a naturalistic landscape and hardscape palette aligned with the campus brand.

 
The War Memorial Stadium West Stands renovation relocated maintenance operations from beneath the stands into the new Athletics Maintenance Facility and introduced new restrooms, concessions, and a university store. Despite complex stormwater and utility constraints, the project transformed under-stand parking into a functional, branded pedestrian plaza. Four new stadium gates and perimeter fencing enhance the game-day experience while supporting ticketing, media, and security needs.

The new Aquatics Center is strategically sited to improve pedestrian connectivity to nearby training facilities while meeting updated stormwater detention requirements. Its entry plaza features relocated athletics memorials previously displaced by the West Stands renovation.

Bison Run Village Apartments offers LEED Silver student housing, with a landscape design that incorporates bioswales, stormwater reduction strategies, and native plantings organized around a central courtyard.

At 7,200 feet in elevation, UW is known for its mature spruce and cottonwood canopy. The Tree Succession Plan uses detailed inventory and GIS tools to guide strategic replacement of aging trees over the next decade, preserving the campus's iconic character.
