Submission by Matthew Giampietro Garden Design by Staff
The client initially contacted me after they visited a stone yard in South Florida. The client also loved the stone work in Italy and wanted his property to incorporate as many stone details as possible. They selected a type of Tennessee Crab Orchard stone and wanted this one stone to be used as the theme throughout the landscape. In the front yard we created an enclosed parking court. The parking court surface was a 3/8" pea gravel surface also from Tennessee. All of the stone was cut and fabricated on site from large slabs of flagstone. Some of the slabs were up to 7'.
