Gibney featured many real-life examples and how they can be implemented.

Gibney explained that not all trees make good candidates no matter how much you'd like to move the planting. He went on to state that transplanting is a form of preservation.

Attendees learned about American Standards for Nursery Stock, Critical Root Zones, soil volumes based on size, and methods to use including ball and burlap, hydraulic spade, bare root, root washing, and pneumatic spade.
