STATE HONORS RETIRING LANDSCAPE ARCHITECT Ball State University Landscape Architecture professor John Russell has received Indiana's Sagamore of the Wabash award for enhancing the state's quality of life Russell, who retires this spring after 25 years at Ball State and 40 years in the profession, was instrumental in helping make the case for the licensure of Landscape Architecture in Indiana-- and has remained actively involved in public interest issues His career has focused on advancing the ideals of Landscape Architecture and quality of life concerns.
