The Water Environment Federation (WEF) will host its inaugural Stormwater and Green Infrastructure Symposium May 8-10 in Fort Lauderdale, Fla. The event was created to provide a forum for discussion on stormwater management as well as increase the technical knowledge of professionals involved with the topic.The symposium will feature oral and poster presentations, panel discussions and pre-conference workshops on a variety of subjects relating to stormwater management. Some of these subjects include sponge cities, stormwater life cycle analysis and the evolution of stormwater utilities.Registration for the Stormwater and Green Infrastructure Symposium is currently open, and early bird pricing ends April 12. Full conference registration includes the opening general session, admission to all technical sessions and the exhibition hall and online access to the symposium proceedings. One-day conference registration includes admission to the technical sessions and the exhibition hall on the specific day that was chosen.
