Minnesota-based playground equipment manufacturer, Landscape Structures Inc., is accepting applications for their annual Parks and Recreation State Speaker Scholarship program. The scholarship will support the appearances of acclaimed keynote speakers at state parks and recreation associations' annual and regional conferences.

Landscape Structures' state association scholarship program was initiated in 2009 and has since awarded over $500,000 in support of park and recreation conferences throughout the United States.

State associations that are selected to receive the scholarship will be awarded $2,500 to go towards finding and hosting conference speakers who are focused on ideas related to play, sustainability or other similar topics.

The scholarship program application process opened July 24, 2018 and will accept entries until June 30, 2019. A specific keynote speaker and topic must be chosen before applying.
