PCI West Announces Change In Leadership
Ruth Lehmann Named New Executive Director

The Precast/Prestressed Concrete Institute (PCI) is an organization dedicated to fostering greater understanding and use of precast and prestressed concrete. Founded in 1954, PCI is the technical institute for the precast, prestressed concrete structures industry.


The Precast/Prestressed Concrete Institute (PCI) announced that Ruth Lehmann, PE, PMP, LEED Green Associate, has been named as the new executive director of PCI West, serving the states of California and Nevada. Lehmann has more than 20 years of experience as a professional engineer and manager with expertise in transportation and materials engineering.

Ms. Lehmann's experiences span the technical, management,www.swisspam.com and educational sides of the industry including her most recent position as Senior Construction Support Manager with DR Consultants & Designers, Inc, Los Angeles. In her new role, Lehmann will represent the precast/prestressed concrete industry in the PCI West states liaising with construction managers, architects, transportation department officials, engineers, general contractors and academia.

"We are excited to have Ruth assume the role of executive director for the organization," said Bob Clark of Clark Pacific, current president of PCI West. "Ruth's degrees in architecture and civil engineering, along with her experience in transportation, and her collegial personality will help her effectively communicate with owners and design teams in our market who can benefit from the kinds of integrated solutions that precast systems bring to complex design and construction projects."

Lehmann received her bachelor's of science degree in architectural studies and masters of science in civil engineering, transportation facilities/materials from the University of Illinois, Urbana. She also holds a degree in civil engineering from the Illinois Institute of Technology, Chicago. Ms. Lehmann is a licensed professional engineer in California and Illinois.
