NRPA Releases Statement in Response to Delta Variant

Conference Will Move Forward with In-Person

While the pandemic has taken over our lives for the past year and a half, NRPA is looking to resume some semblance of normalcy with their annual conference that will be offered with safety measures and with a virtual option as well.

The National Recreation and Park Association (NRPA) is looking forward to hosting their annual conference in Nashville, Tennessee from September 21 through 23, 2021 however they are taking precautions to best serve all in attendance due to the pandemic.

The NRPA states that according to a survey 90 percent of those planning on attending are vaccinated against COVID-19.

NRPA is also implementing several protocols including, daily health and wellness checkpoints, face covering requirements at all gathering spaces and events, physical distancing including seating in education session rooms staying three-feet apart, six-foot physical distancing in all other areas, and routine cleaning of shared areas.
