NRPA Releases 2022 Salary Report

New Report from NRPA Shows Increase in Pay Across Parks Industries

The median increase in pay for parks and recreation professional employees was about 3% from 2021 into 2022.

From 2021 to the first half of 2022, the National Recreation and Parks Association (NRPA) reports that parks and recreation professionals saw a median of around a 3% pay increase. This information comes from a NRPA report that not only details various job titles' salaries in the parks industry, but also gives detailed comparisons between demographics and characteristics of different positions. The survey catalogued over 500 parks and recreation agencies in order to compile their statistics.
