The National League of Cities is inviting members and nonmembers to join their virtual Hill briefing, Cities are Essential: Protecting and Growing America's Economic Recovery, on Thursday, June 11th at 8:00 am PDT.

 

According to the NLC, communities need a strong intergovernmental local-federal partnership to stabilize local government operations, keep workers on the job, and maintain critical and essential services to rebuild and grow the economy.

Federal leaders and local elected officials from across the country will discuss how cities are both essential and the solution to the economic crisis caused by COVID-19.
