TRENTON, NJ - On Nov. 25, 2002, more than 100 members of the New Jersey chapter of the American Society of Landscape Architects and national ASLA gathered at the Statehouse to brief legislators on issues affecting the profession. A certificate of appreciation was presented to sponsors of a revision that elevated Landscape Architects to Closely Allied Professional status earlier this year. ?EUR??,,????'??This status now permits Landscape Architects to own multi-disciplinary design firms,?EUR??,,????'?? Joseph Perello, NJASLA Chapter President told LASN. At the breakfast was also used to announce the Landscape Architect Legislative Liason program to assist in decisions on land planning and resource conservation. Short presentations focused on working with legislators, pending legislation and an update on the ASLA 50/2010 national license upgrade effort. ?EUR??,,????'??NJASLA is also reviewing the profession?EUR??,,????'???s current title status in the state with counsel,?EUR??,,????'??
