Joe Buscaino, the president of the National League of Cities stated today, "As the nation braces for what U.S. Surgeon General Jerome Adams described as the 'hardest and the saddest week of most Americans' lives,' we are reminded of the importance of local leadership. Our community members are looking to us for assurance that life will go on - that there is, in fact, a light at the end of this dark tunnel."
