The NHLA hosted its Train the Trainer program from March 26 to March 29 in Miami, Florida.

This was the third year that NHLA members participated in the National Association of Landscape Professionals' Renewal and Remembrance; a nationally recognized event that involved a beautification project at Arlington Cemetery.

The NHLA presented a series of seminars during the 2017 GIE + EXPO. Attendees learned how industry leaders across the country found inspiration and solutions to operations, marketing and staffing challenges.

During their visit to Washington, D.C., NHLA leadership met with legislators and congressional staff on Capitol Hill to discuss issues that affect the industry at large.

The Latino Leadership Institute at the University of Denver announced Marisol Medrano Mejia as a fellow for its LLI Fellowship Winter 2017 Program.

The NHLA congratulated its director, and president of Clean Scapes, Ivan Giraldo, for receiving the EY Entrepreneur of The Year???(R)???AE???? 2017 Award in the Service category in Central Texas.
