NACTO Welcomes Alana Brasier as Director of Engagement, Strengthening Member Relations

Alana Brasier's diverse experience to bolster NACTO's mission of people-centered urban mobility

NACTO announces Alana Brasier as Director of Engagement, leveraging her expertise to enhance member relations and urban mobility initiatives.

The National Association of City Transportation Officials (NACTO) is excited to introduce Alana Brasier as their new Director of Engagement. Following a rigorous nationwide search, Alana joins the team to foster stronger connections with member cities and further advance NACTO's commitment to equitable and sustainable urban mobility.

Brasier brings a wealth of experience to her new role, having most recently served as the Chief Planner at the City of Tampa's Mobility Department. During her tenure, she spearheaded significant initiatives like the Citywide Mobility Plan and the Vision Zero Program, while securing over $30 million in federal grants for Tampa through successful grant applications.

Her extensive background in transportation planning, public space design, and program management positions her well to contribute to NACTO's mission. Furthermore, Alana's familiarity with NACTO as a long-time member adds a valuable perspective to her leadership.
