The health risks of short-term exposure to pesticides and accidental poisoning are real. All flammable and combustible Liquids in an outside location must be stored in a designated storage unit.

Securall Agri-Chemical Storage units are designed to store pesticides, herbicides and other agricultural chemicals in a safe, secure environment.

Containment helps restrict the handling of pesticides to those who have been properly trained and authorized per EPA/WPS. Available models segregate and securely store up to 120 gallons of a Class I, Class II and Class III product.

Currently, 4 types of storage are available; pesticide storage cabinets, outdoor weatherproof storage cabinets, outdoor storage lockers, and outdoor storage buildings. Each type has a sump area built in to the bottom of the unit, designed to prevent leaky containers from contaminating the storage environment. OSHA requires cabinet sumps to be at least two inches deep and locker/building sump capacity to contain a minimum 25 percent of the holding capacity.

When storing agri-chemicals, you should classify the chemicals you intend to store according to hazard. Those that are compatible can be stored in the same storage unit. Incompatible chemicals should be stored in separate outdoor storage units or as required by OSHA. Outdoor storage lockers/buildings can be designed with a separation wall allowing you to store incompatible materials. You can also custom-design an outdoor storage unit by specifying the height, width and depth of the storage unit yourself.

Outdoor agricultural chemical storage units should be placed outside, on level ground, or on a concrete slab. Consult your local authority having jurisdiction regarding building placement and separation distances/limits.

Safety/pesticide cabinets can also be installed inside an outdoor storage locker/building to separate the different materials.

Pesticide Storage Cabinets

The pesticide cabinet provides secure, controlled and compliant storage for agri-chemical products, allowing farms, nurseries, golf courses, parks and recreation facilities to safely store pesticide chemicals and equipment.

Outdoor Weatherproof Storage Cabinets

Weatherproof Cabinets offer the same dependable storage as standard safety cabinets with added protection from the elements. These all-welded cabinets are painted with a weather-resistant urethane finish resistant to ultra-violet rays. They feature a sloped roof with a 2 3/4-inch overhang; interior and exterior astragals that prevent rain penetration; and standard stainless steel flush mount handle or optional galvanized steel high security handle.

Outdoor Storage Lockers

Lockers are used to store a quantity of chemicals that do not exceed the control area. Lockers provide noncombustible walls constructed from 16-gauge steel for maximum durability, weather resistance, and rigidity; R-11 insulation is placed in stud cavity of the wall. Lockers are also less likely to be subject to state approvals.

Outdoor Storage Buildings

Quantities of chemicals that exceed the control area require a building for storage. Buildings provide noncombustible walls constructed from 12-gauge steel for maximum durability, weather resistance and rigidity; R-11 insulation placed in stud cavity of the wall.

For both outdoor storage lockers and buildings, the following building codes are met: UBC, SBC, UFC, NEC and CAC. The following industry construction standards are met: NFPA, BOCA, AWS, AISC, ANSI, ASTM, ICC and USPC. The following federal regulations are pertinent: EPA and OSHA.

Maintenance-Free Solutions

For chemical storage needs, an Easi-Set??????oe Industries precast concrete building provides a balance of economy, quick installation and custom features to safely and securely store hazardous materials of all kinds. They offer a lifetime, maintenance-free solution to almost any building need.

The buildings are well-suited for both wet and dry hazardous chemical storage, including sprays, paint, thinners, oils, solvents, greases, insecticides, algaecides, fertilizers, weed killers and more.

Cabinets are also raised up off the ground and easily mobile with built-in heavy gauge forklift channels, and may be secured with 7-gauge bolt-down brackets. Cabinets meet: EPA 40 CFR 264, 265, NFPA Code 30 & OSHA 1910 requirements.

All buildings are produced by local producers across North American and can be delivered and installed quickly to the customer?EUR??,,????'???s site in as little as a few hours. They are preassembled and can be moved with minimal effort, so they can be continually relocated to the locations where hazardous materials are being used. Buildings can be located in remote areas, are durable, secure and do not require attendants. The buildings are designed to be weather-tight, vandal-resistant and are able to withstand wind loads of up to 150 mph.

Hazardous material storage buildings are available in two standard sizes, 12 by 10 feet and 12 by 20 feet, with storage capacities for 20 and 45 standard 55-gallon drums. The standard-sized buildings are delivered as an assembled unit and require no foundation. Standard features include non-corrosive, all-concrete construction as well as non-corrosive hardware providing durability in the chemical environment. All buildings also feature non-corrosive, 90-minute fire-resistant doors. Buildings designed for wet storage have galvanized or fiberglass grates raised six inches above the floor?EUR??,,????'???s surface to contain liquid spills. They also contain a sump sized to contain 33 percent more liquid than building drum storage capacity.

The buildings can be tailored to meet any need. Custom sizes are available, as are a variety of custom-finished exteriors so the buildings can aesthetically blend in with existing structures, specific to the customer?EUR??,,????'???s needs. Optional features include static grounding systems to prevent sparks which would lead to a fire or explosion hazard, epoxy coatings, interior climate controls to ensure a stable environment, explosion-proof lighting and electrical systems, fire protection systems, custom explosion-relief panels and much more.
