The U.S. Green Building Council (USGBC) has released six new LEED exam bundles for those planning to acquire LEED professional credentials. Exam and prep bundles include exam registration and study materials. Exam, prep and maintenance bundles include exam registration, study materials and online access to continuing education courses with a yearlong subscription to Education @USGBC.

USGBC states LEED, which stands for Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design, is the most widely used green building rating system in the world and has economic, health and environmental benefits. LEED credentials indicate an individual's expertise in sustainable design, construction and operations standards and are available in LEED Green Associate or LEED AP with specialty.

 
The LEED Green Associate credential is ideal for professionals newer to sustainability and LEED, and confirms a thorough comprehension of green building principles and practices.

The LEED AP with specialty credential is recommended for those with experience in working on LEED-registered projects and distinguishes those with advanced knowledge in green building plus a particular LEED rating system. LEED AP specialties include:

LEED AP Operations + Maintenance (LEED AP O+M)
LEED AP Interior Design + Construction (LEED AP ID+C)
