Hursthouse Landscape Architects and Contractors (HLAC) received the 2011 ILCA Excellence in Landscape Award. The award was in recognition of the design/build of a Glen Ellyn, Illinois. front porch. The project, entitled ''Once Upon a Front Porch'' was designed and constructed by Bob Hursthouse and his landscaping team. HLAC is a landscape architecture and contracting firm with clients in the Chicago area and around the Midwest.
