Landscape Inspections - Plan Review Through Project Acceptance

A landscape installation can vary in complexity, cost, and completion
timeline from one project to the next. Whether you are an owner, designer, construction manager, projectsuperintendent, or agency inspector, understanding thecomplete and accurate installation of the landscape asplanned is critical to the success of the project. Beginning with plan review, through material approval, construction observation, and project turnover, this class will review theideal steps to observing, inspecting, and accepting alandscape installation.

Learning Objectives
1. Learn the process for overseeing and accepting a complete landscape installation.
2. Gain a detailed understanding of the landscape construction and inspection process as owners, designers, inspectors, and contractors.
3. Learn to document all phases of construction in order to assure that all parties are providing or receiving the full contracted value of the landscape installation.

Utilizing tools such as drones andGPS systems, UES implements innovative tools and methodsto meet each project's challenges. Greg's understanding ofthe multiple disciplines and processes involved in complexprojects has given him the ability to manage design andconstruction effectively on projects of varying size such asnatural open space projects, large scale land developments, commercial office campuses, public landscapes, communitygardens, and parks. His experience with municipal clientsincludes managing landscape maintenance contracts, assisting in streamlining public works field procedures, providing on-site troubleshooting with cost effectivesolutions, as well as completing various scale municipaldesign and design-install projects.
