New Research Funded at University of Florida

Grants Awarded to School of Landscape Architecture and Planning

Graduate studies combining landscape architecture and urban planning will receive funding to advance the profession.

Four teams at the University of Florida's School of Landscape Architecture and Planning have received a combined total of $42,000 in funding for research that advances planning and design. The Director's Innovation Grant Awards encourage interdisciplinary collaboration, and this dispersion will fund research on the Florida Wildlife Corridor, planning and design approaches for independent affordable housing solutions, the identity of community development along Florida waterfronts, and using AI to monitor the social performance of landscape projects.
