The U.S. Green Building Council California (USGBC California) announced its first Board of Directors after the unification of six previously separate USGBC chapters, naming Landscape Architect Gary Lai of Quixotic Nature-based Solutions as the Chair of the Board. The board consists of individuals in all sectors from across California, all united to use their diverse skillset in building a more resilient state.

Ben Stapleton, who transitioned from the Executive Director of USGBC-LA to the Executive Director of USGBC California, will continue in his role.
