The 2023-24 Landscape Architecture Foundation (LAF) Board of Directors began their term on October 27 at the Annual Board Meeting in Minneapolis.

Eight new Directors began their term on the LAF Board from a range of backgrounds including firms and municipalities.

Michael Grove, FASLA, of Sasaki became President, after Roberto Rovira of Florida International University led the organization during a time of growth that included a capital campaign, expanded staff, and a new program for BIPOC students.

 
Directors Margie Simmons, Emily McCoy, and Alexis Landes took their Vice President positions, while two other officers continue in their roles on the executive leadership team:

• Vice President of Research: Emily McCoy, FASLA, Design Workshop
• Vice President of Leadership: Alexis C. Landes, SCAPE
• Vice President of Education: Alpa Nawre, University of Florida
• Vice President of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion: Alexa Bush, The Kresge Foundation
