LAF Announces CSI Fellows and Projects

Designed by site design studio, the Argyle Shared Street project is located in Chicago's Uptown neighborhood. It was designed to encourage a more pedestrian-friendly streetscape for the community. The project has been selected for Landscape Architecture Foundation's CSI Program.

In the fall, the Landscape Architecture Foundation accepted project proposals for its Case Study Investigation (CSI) program. Just recently, the CSI teams and projects were announced for 2019. The Fellows receive a $1,000 honorarium, and $9,000 will also be given to support the student Research Assistant. The teams will develop "methods to quantify environmental, social and economic benefits," and their Case Study Briefs will be published in LAF's Landscape Performance Series. The CSI program will take place from February to August 2019.

The selection included 11 faculty Research Fellows and 12 landscape projects, which consisteof a world-class museum, a shared street project, wind farms and more. The award recipients are listed on the LAF website as follows:
