Six Professionals Pursuing Industry-Related Projects & Research by Keziah Olsen Morris, LASN
The professionals selected for the 2026-27 cohort of the Landscape Architecture Foundation's (LAF) Fellowship for Innovation and Leadership have been announced, including six professionals and three former LAF Olmsted Scholars. The ninth cohort comprises Marybeth Campeau of the Coastal Dynamics Design Lab at North Carolina State University, Liska Chan of the University of Oregon, Ilana Cohen of Atelier Roberta in France, Robert Colón of the Miami-Dade County Department of Environmental Resources Management, Catherine De Almeida of the University of Washington; and Davey Friday of the City of Dallas Planning and Development Department. Their research topics range from streetscape creative placemaking and to designing with waste and animal conservation in mind.
