Kevin Robert Perry, 51, passed away at his home in Davis, California on Sunday, April 2, 2023, after a six-month battle with ALS/Lou Gehrig's Disease.

 
Kevin Perry, FASLA, became a fellow in 2017. He founded Urban Rain Design, a small studio design firm in California and Oregon that specialized in Tactical Green Infrastructure in 2012. He worked tirelessly within the ASLA to integrate stormwater management with high-quality urban design.

He worked as a senior Landscape Architect at Toole Design Group from 2021 to 2022 crafting green infrastructure with innovative multimodal streetscape design. Perry attended UC Davis where he received his bachelor's degree in landscape architecture in 1996.

Kevin is survived by his wife of 25 years, Andrea Carlassare; three children, Addison, Ava, and Mia; mother, Darlene Onstad; father, Thomas Perry; sister, Heather Boshers; brother-in-law, Benji Boshers; nephews, Evan and Cash; Andrea's parents, Cynthia Conant and Martin Carlassare; her sisters Catherine Carlassare and Elizabeth Carlassare, brother-in-law Jon Gimpel, nephew Milo.

A celebration of life event will be scheduled in June.
