Irrigation Association Announces Newly Elected Directors

Board Consists of 15 Members

The new members began their terms at the conclusion of the 2019 Irrigation Show and Education Week in December.

The Irrigation Association has announced the newly appointed members of its board of directors. The new directors are as follows:

• Richard Arias, vice president of sales for the southwest United States and Mexico for RDO Water and RDO Equipment Co. (San Diego, Calif.)

• Julie Bushell, director of sales and marketing for the ag division of Paige Electric Co. (Union, N.J.) and president of Paige Wireless (Union, N.J.)

• Eric Santos, CAIS, CGIA, CIC, CID, CIT, CLIA, CLWM, vice president of irrigation services for the landscape maintenance division of BrightView Landscape Services (Pleasanton, Calif.)

The individuals will serve three-year terms and join 12 other members who are continuing their terms from previous years.

"The IA looks forward to the unique expertise and experience each of these individuals will bring to the table while serving on the board," said IA CEO Deborah Hamlin, CAE, FASAE. "We appreciate the work they and our current directors devote to the IA as we work together to advance the industry and promote efficient irrigation."

According to the press release, the IA board of directors is tasked with establishing the association's strategic direction, policies and programs. Directors are nominated each year by members of the association and represent the diversity of member types and market segments.
